Honey garlic chicken wings recipes
Ingredients:
2-1/2 pounds large chicken wingsTraeger Pork and Poultry Shake, or your favorite barbecue rub
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter
1/2 cup Louisiana-style hot sauce
1/4 cup honey, or more to taste
1-1/2 cups blue cheese or ranch dressing
2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions:
1. With a sharp knife, slice the wings in to three parts throughout the joints. Discard the particular wing tips, as well as save for chicken stock. Move the rest of the “drumettes” and “flats” to a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper or nonstick aluminum foil, and prepare them in one single layer. Season properly with the Traeger Pork and Poultry Shake.2. Produce the hot honey-garlic sauce: Melt the butter in a tiny saucepan around medium-low heat.. include your garlic, and sauce for several minutes(2-3 minutes) till it softens (do not allow it color). Mix in the warm sauce and honey and make for several minutes to mix the flavors. Hold warm.
3. When ready to prepare start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open before the fire is set up (4 to to 5 minutes). Arrange the temperature to 350 degrees F as well as preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.
4. Prepare the baking sheet with the wings on the grill grate. Make for 45 to 50 minutes or before the chicken is no more pink at the bone.Put enough of the hot honey-garlic sauce on the wings to coat them on all sides, turning with tongs. Prepare for 10 to 15 minutes more to “set” your sauce. Offer with the blue cheese or ranch dressing.
